The Reflection Experience

A short series of reflections for women in their sixties and beyond who want a future that feels rich, meaningful and uniquely their own.

A thoughtful woman in her sixties sitting outdoors, resting her chin on her hands and looking reflective.

You’ve lived a full, capable life.

You’ve carried responsibility, made things happen, and contributed in ways that mattered.

And now you find yourself here, in a chapter no one really prepared you for.

This isn’t about finding quick answers.

It’s about giving yourself the time and space to think more deeply about what you want from the years ahead – and beginning to shape a future that feels rich, meaningful and uniquely your own.

The Reflection Experience is delivered as five daily emails, arriving in your inbox each morning.

You can work through them at your own pace, with a notebook, your favourite drink, and a little uninterrupted time to yourself.

Why give yourself this time?

Most of us spend decades responding to what life asks of us.

There are jobs to do, people to care for, responsibilities to carry and plans to make. We become very good at keeping life moving forwards, often without stopping to ask ourselves what we want from it now.

Then one day we find ourselves in a new stage of life.

Sometimes we’re still working. Sometimes we’ve retired. Sometimes life has changed in ways we expected, and sometimes in ways we never imagined.

Whatever your circumstances, this is one of the few times in life when it’s worth pausing long enough to ask some different questions.

Not because there’s something wrong.
Not because you need to reinvent yourself.

But because your future deserves your attention too.

The Reflection Experience isn’t designed to give you answers.

It’s simply an opportunity to step out of the noise for a few minutes each day and reflect on where you are, what matters to you, and what you might want from the years ahead.

Many women tell me that these few quiet moments become the first time in years they’ve given themselves permission to think about their own future.

Sometimes that’s where everything begins.

Why Ignite exists

Over the past year, I’ve spoken with many women in their sixties and beyond – women who have lived full, engaged lives in many different ways.

Some were still working.
Some had retired.
Some were caring for loved ones.

Some already knew exactly what they wanted next.
Others had no idea.

But despite their different lives, one theme kept emerging.

They wanted more from this stage of life than simply letting it happen.

That’s why Ignite exists.

To help women in their sixties and beyond create a future that feels rich, meaningful and uniquely their own.

The Reflection Experience is where that journey begins.

A simple, thoughtful way to step out of the noise, reconnect with what matters most to you, and begin designing a future that feels rich, meaningful and uniquely your own.

About Charlotte Desorgher

Charlotte Desorgher smiling warmly with hands folded, wearing a green top and yellow earrings in a bright café setting.

Like many women of our generation, when I reached my sixties I found myself feeling lost and unsure of my future.

I did many of the things I had expected to do in retirement,
but I felt I was lacking in direction and purpose.

As I began talking to other women, I realised I wasn’t alone.

Again and again, I heard different stories, but recognised the same longing:
To create a future that felt rich, meaningful and uniquely their own.

That was the beginning of Ignite.

Today, through my writing, conversations, programmes and mentoring, I’m privileged to walk alongside women as they create futures that feel deeply true to them.

You don’t need a plan.
You don’t need certainty.

Just a willingness to pause, and to take this moment seriously.

When you’re ready, I’d love to welcome you into the Reflection Experience.

I’ll send you a short welcome email explaining what happens next.

And I hope these five days become the beginning of something meaningful for you.
